About the work: Clematis cirrhosa, the winter clematis, is a Spanish plant that blossoms in the winter. The idea of plants flowering in the winter sounds like a fairytale to my Slavic ears! It makes me imagine mysterious stories happening in the winter world of Clematis cirrhosa, and this is what I wanted to evoke in this artwork.
